We decided to give a more personal tone to this introduction to our company having in mind that we managed to create personal relationships with our partners and clients, travelling to meet you or welcoming you to our premises in Athens. These words by the team of Verdi have initially been molded by our suppliers and customers who by the first chance share their first memories of our old factory in the center of Athens, or recall their first acquaintance with a member of our sales team while visiting their showroom.
At which position do we find Verdi today?
This is what concerns us most. The products that are produced in our family factory on an annual basis find their position in more than 70.000 bathrooms in Greece and worldwide. This is a figure that makes us feel confident when spotting frequently our accessories in hotels and restaurants, or even in house holds that choose to trust Verdi products for their everyday use.
'Have Love, Will Travel'
We travel across Greece the last 30 years and we managed to lead our family factory to significant progress. The last 10 years we actively travel abroad, worth mentioning that along the way we established an affiliated company in London. Verdi UK (formerly VIOLEK UK) began its activity in 2013 and brought our family before a crucial realization.
Our products gained immediately leading position in trend-setting showrooms and they have been recognized as equal to products of internationally acclaimed factories, based on criteria of quality in materials, flawless machining and distinguishing design.
This experience made us realize the advantages that manufacturing companies seclude, considering that in sanitary ware there are very few factories that insist on their traditional practices nowadays.
Why in Verdi we pay such attention to each manufacturing stage?
We buy our raw material, brass. A very strong alloy with a significant gold colour, a material that arrives to our premises in many forms, such as rods, sheets and flatbed shapes. The characteristics of this high-quality alloy we order are certified by our suppliers, ensuring that the substance is lead-free and that the behavior of the surface will be appropriate for the next phases of production after the machining of the parts.
In our workshop the transformation of raw material is taking place, by giving shape to separate parts which will be functional in the synthesis of the final product. We then grind and polish by hand each part, a traditional technique of craftsmanship that prepares the surface for the plating process. While we electro-plate the brass components we implement the lifetime guarantee of the product, alongside the aesthetic result of the flawless, light-reflecting surface.
If you ordered your towel rail in a pop color of your imagination then we will apply electrostatic powder on the product, in order to give you the accessory that will complete the look of your bathroom. Finally, we put together the separate components and check one by one the complete products before packaging.

Brass rods are processed in automatic lathes in our machining department, in order to form the first shape of the components that we will eventually use in the assembly of the complete product.
Parts that require meticulous processing are then handled by CNC machinery for accurate work.

Τα μασίφ εξαρτήματα και οι σωλήνες περνάνε από πολλά χέρια ταινίας και πανιού για να γυαλίσουν και να προετοιμαστεί η επιφάνεια τους για τη διαδικασία της επιμετάλλωσης.
Μέσα από μπάνια χαλκού, νικελίου και χρωμίου, όλα τα εξαρτήματα αποκτούν το αισθητικό αποτέλεσμα του φινιρίσματος αλλά και την αντοχή για καθημερινή χρήση μέσα σε περιβάλλον υγρασίας.
Το φωτεινό αποτέλεσμα του χρωμίου, επιλέγεται από την πλειοψηφία για τη διακόσμηση του μπάνιου, όχι μόνο για την αίσθηση καθαριότητας που προσφέρει, αλλά κυρίως για την αντοχή του στον χρόνο. Το τελικό αποτέλεσμα της αψεγάδιαστης επιφάνειας εξαρτάται από την προσεκτική δουλειά στη συγκεκριμένη φάση, από τις πρώτες ύλες του νικελωτηρίου, αλλά κι από την ποιότητα του κράματος του μετάλλου που χρησιμοποιείται ως βάση.
Μετά από πολλές φάσεις κατεργασίας, τα εξαρτήματα συναρμολογούνται και δίνουν το τελικό προϊόν.
Με την ολοκλήρωση ενός ορισμένου κύκλου εργασιών, πραγματοποιείται η συλλογή κι ανακύκλωση των κατάλοιπων της παραγωγικής διαδικασίας.
